Is this really free?

The guide shows you how to use official free tiers and local models, which cost $0. Some providers offer trials or paid plans too; the guide marks which is which.

Do I get Anthropic or OpenAI models for free?

No. You keep the coding agent apps you like, but the answers come from free and open models. No company's paid models are unlocked for free.

Why "Jailbreak"?

Because it frees your coding agent from a single paid model provider, using a configuration the agent supports. It does not bypass any safety system.

Is it within the rules?

One account per provider, your own keys, used inside each provider's terms. The guide has a full chapter on fair use.

Do I need a powerful computer?

No. The cloud free tiers run on any computer. Local models need more memory; the guide has a hardware table.

How good are free models?

Very good for everyday coding: features, tests, fixes, scripts, explanations. Weaker on long, vague, many-file tasks. The guide shows how to work around that.
